• WHAT WE BELIEVE

    Lakeview Community Church

    We Believe...

    • In one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are one (1 John 5:7–8; Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14)
    • The Bible is the inspired Word of God, true, authoritative, and without error, and is the final authority for our faith and daily living. (2 Tim 3:16–17; 2 Pet 1:20–21; Ps 119:160)
    • All people have sinned and are separated from God, and are in need of forgiveness and new life. (Rom 3:23; Rom 6:23; Isaiah 53:6)
    • Salvation is given by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned by human effort, but is freely given by God to those who believe. (Eph 2:8–9; Rom 10:9–10; John 3:16; Titus 3:5)
    • In the birth, life, death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and that He is the only way to reconciliation with the Father. (Matt 1:23; 1 Cor 15:3–4; John 14:6; Col 1:15–20)
    • True faith leads to repentance and a transformed life through the work of the Holy Spirit, who lives in every believer, guiding, teaching, and strengthening them. (Acts 2:38; Gal 5:22–23; John 14:16–17; Rom 8:14)
    • The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in His Word, love one another, and share the gospel with the world. (Eph 4:11–16; Acts 2:42; Heb 10:24–25; Matt 28:19–20)
    • Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, and that communion is a remembrance of His sacrifice. (Matt 28:19; Acts 2:41; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Cor 11:23–26)
    • Jesus Christ will return again in glory to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom. (Acts 1:11; Matt 24:30; 1 Thess 4:16–17; Rev 22:12)

    A Personal Invitation

We believe the gospel is not only truth to understand, but good news to receive. Every person is invited into a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have never placed your faith in Him, today can be the day you turn to God, repent, and believe in the saving work of Christ.

Jesus offers forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternity to all who come to Him in faith. No one is beyond His grace.
